All seven Palletways owned depots – in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Bristol, London, Cardiff, Oxford and Glasgow – have received their Bronze award from the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) for another consecutive year.
Palletways was first awarded the FORS Bronze accreditation in 2013 and this highlights their sustained commitment to high quality fleet transport.
Zac Brown, director of owned operations for Palletways UK, adds: “FORS accreditation demonstrates dedication to driver and vehicle safety, combined with improving operating practices through effective monitoring of fuel and tyre usage. Currently over 4,000 organisations across the UK and Europe are accredited and FORS has become the industry standard.
“The Palletways network includes over 110 UK depots, seven of which are owned by Palletways. They have all been successfully re-accredited, as we continue to invest in our hub infrastructure and our people.”
FORS, an industry-led accreditation scheme, promotes road freight as a safe and sustainable mode of transportation. It’s open to any company operating a fleet and to the organisations that award contracts to them. The FORS Bronze accreditation emphasises Palletways’ fleet safety, environmental impact and efficiency to customers.
