Local transport company Palletways Birmingham is celebrating reaching the milestone of two million pallets collected from its customers and then delivered by fellow network members, since it became a part of Palletways.
Palletways is Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network.
Garry Curtis, general manager at Birmingham, based in Lichfield, said: “Our team works extremely hard to respond to customer demand and move pallets quickly and efficiently through the Palletways network. With 110 member companies across the UK, the network is strong and resilient enough to take on whatever pallet volumes our customers want to move, even at the busiest times of year.
“This year we regained our Platinum status from Palletways. This is an accolade to recognise depots which provide service excellence to the rest of the network, so, having just input our two millionth pallet, we are delighted our service has never been better.”
Dave Walmsley, managing director of Palletways UK, adds: “This milestone achievement from Palletways Birmingham is outstanding. Operational depots, like Palletways Birmingham, are such an important part of our success. Their dedication to service excellence helps us to match customer expectations and deliver even higher pallet volumes year on year. I would like to convey my thanks and congratulations to the fantastic team we have in the Birmingham depot and of course across the country in our network of best-in-class transport businesses.”
